I made it! Home that is. I survived my very first trip to Las Vegas. I know, I know, “everyone” has been to Vegas. I guess I’m just a stick in the mud, and/or I lived in Northern Nevada for 6 years which means I could gamble, drink, shoot guns, and check out strip clubs [...]
Review: Uber (Private Driver Service)
Since I’m in San Francisco now, I have had a need for taxi service on occasion. The biggest issue with taxis in San Francisco is that like any big city, it can take a while to get one – especially on busy drinking nights. I had heard about this service called “Uber“; that it was [...]

Today I’m adding two new categories to the blog, bringing the total count up to 34. At this point in time, it has become obvious to me that tags would probably be a better system but we’re working with what we got. The two categories are “Travel” and “Japan 2011″ the latter being a child [...]
The Amusements of Flying
I know it might seem strange, but I find flying amusing. I’ve been flying since I was a chibi, so I’m not afraid of it. Plus you have to follow the statistics, you are more likely to get killed on the freeway in a car, than flying. Like most, I don’t enjoy turbulence, but that [...]
